Palmetto has created a new HHH Jurisdiction for Florida, New Mexico, and Texas with the electronic Payer ID of 11001 effective January 22, 2011. The current Payer ID, 00380, may be used until Friday, January 21 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Through the weekend of January 22 and 23, claims may be submitted using the new Payer ID.
What do I need to do:
After submitting claims on Friday, January 21, you must update your insurance support files. Please note, GLMI Billing Services will update the support files for all of their clients. Both ISA05 and ISA07 need to be changed from ‘ZZ’ to ‘28’. Also update ISA08 from 00380 to the new Payer ID of 11001. Click here for a script to assist you in updating your support files.
