NAHC posted the following message regarding the Hospice Cost Report:
On September 21st CMS issued Transmittal 9, which provides updates to Chapter 38, Hospice Cost Report (Form CMS-1984-99). The revisions to the hospice cost report are applicable to cost reporting periods ending on or after July 31, 2011. The changes reflect renumbering of five cost centers to avoid duplicate data collection subscripts. Also available are the updated worksheets and related materials.
